Thinking pictures “WHAT REMAINS”

Art project with the internationally renowned sculptor Andreas Kuhnlein provides impetus for a thinking picture in Bliesgau

“WHAT REMAINS” is the title of another thinking picture, which also provides an impulse for being on the move as part of the European model project. Two extraordinary wooden sculptures by wood sculptor Andreas Kuhnlein provide the image for this, opening up a fictitious pictorial dialog between Pirminius, the messenger of faith so characteristic of the Bliesgau, and a portrait of a contemporary man.

The sculptures will soon be on display along the route in the churches of Altheim and Böckweiler and at the Pirminius grave in Hornbach. You can find the site-specific food for thought in the accompanying brochure.
