During a church service on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at 10:30 a.m., the medieval St. Martin’s Church and the ruins of Neukastel Castle were inaugurated as points of reference within the European model project “Starry Path/
After the service, the inauguration of the signboard and the stone scallop took place.
This pilgrim stamp is available in the church.

Chemin des étoiles”, inviting people to trace our cultural history in connection with current guiding themes of our society.

St. Martin’s Church in Leinsweiler has a varied history, which can be seen in many details of the building since the Middle Ages. Every era has left its traces and this gives this church its special aura. By integrating this place into the large-regional model project “Starry Path/
Chemin des étoiles”, our church becomes a place where we also thematize and further think about European values.
