You can exercise the following rights at any time using the contact details provided by our data protection officer:

  • Information about your data stored by us and its processing (Art. 15 DSGVO),

Collection of general information when visiting our website

Nature and purpose of processing

When you access our website, i.e., when you do not register or otherwise submit information, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, your IP address and the like.

Storage duration

If the data is stored in log files, this occurs no later than 14 days after collection. Storage beyond this period is possible. In this case, users’ IP addresses are anonymized so that it is no longer possible to identify the client that accessed the site.

If you contact us to request a quote, the data entered in the contact form will be processed to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO).

Storage duration

Data will be deleted no later than 6 months after processing the request.

If a contractual relationship arises, we are subject to the statutory retention periods according to the German Commercial Code (HGB) and delete your data after these periods have expired.

Providing your personal data is voluntary. However, we can only process your request if you provide us with the necessary information and the reason for your request.

Plugins and tools

Geoapify

Our website uses services from Geoapify (Geoapify GmbH, Bgm.-Heinrich-Str. 6, 86415 Mering, Germany) to display interactive maps. The use of Geoapify is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. By using it, information including your IP address is transmitted to Geoapify. The services of Geoapify are hosted in EU data centers and comply with the DSGVO.

ArcGIS Online

Our website uses ArcGIS Online services from the company Esri to display interactive maps. ArcGIS Online is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Through the use, information including your IP address is transmitted to Esri.

YouTube

Our website embeds videos from YouTube, which is operated by Google Ireland Limited (“Google”). When you visit one of the pages that includes a YouTube video, a connection to Google’s servers is established when you click the play button. This informs the server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow Google to associate your browsing activity directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

We use YouTube in enhanced privacy mode. According to Google, videos played in enhanced privacy mode are not used to personalize the YouTube viewing experience. Ads displayed in enhanced privacy mode are also not personalized. In enhanced privacy mode, no cookies are set. Instead, so-called local storage elements are stored in the user’s browser; these contain personal data similar to cookies and can be used for recognition purposes. In some cases, playing a YouTube video may trigger additional data processing operations over which we have no control.

We use YouTube to ensure that our online offerings are presented in an appealing manner. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. If consent has been obtained, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and Section 25(1) of the TDDDG, to the extent that the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent may be revoked at any time.
